Is that video of a celebrity promoting an investment real?

No. AI-cloned videos of celebrities, CEOs, and news anchors “endorsing” an investment or giveaway are one of the fastest-growing scam formats — the face and voice are synthesized, the free-money or doubled-crypto offer is the bait, and the site it funnels you to is the trap. No celebrity promotes guaranteed investment returns through a social media ad, and no real giveaway asks you to send money first to “verify” your wallet. Treat every investment ad on social media as hostile until proven otherwise, and search the offer's name plus “scam” before a dollar moves.

Is someone impersonating your brand?

The costume in these scams — a lookalike domain, a copied storefront, a spoofed sender — is exactly what the brand impersonation audit researches for your company: lookalike domains, typosquats, and copycat sites trading on your name, each with evidence and a risk rating, plus a ready-to-send takedown-request template.
