A “task and reward” job on Telegram pays me to rate apps and complete simple tasks — is it a scam?
Yes. “Task” jobs recruit through Telegram or WhatsApp, pay out small real amounts on the first few tasks to build trust, then ask you to deposit your own money — often in crypto — to unlock bigger “commissions” that never arrive. It's the same funding engine as pig-butchering investment scams, just repackaged as gig work. No legitimate job ever requires you to pay to get paid — stop depositing, and don't send another cent to “unlock” a withdrawal.
